Yes. We can swap tread materials, rail types, and finishes in the model so you can compare walnut vs. white oak or glass vs. cable rail before deciding. Most clients lock in their material choice after seeing the options at scale.
Does the 3D model match what actually gets built?
Yes — within normal material tolerances. Because the model is built from field measurements and feeds directly into fabrication drawings, dimensional accuracy carries through. The tread dimensions, rail heights, and clearances you approve in the model are what get built.
Can I share the 3D model with my interior designer or architect?
Yes. We can export files in standard formats that most design software can import. If your interior designer is coordinating flooring, lighting, or millwork with the staircase, having the 3D geometry is useful for coordination.
What if I want changes after the AR walkthrough?
That's exactly why we do the walkthrough — to catch those changes before fabrication. Minor adjustments are handled before sign-off. Major scope changes after sign-off are documented and priced accordingly, but those situations are rare when clients have seen the full AR model first.
